About the Event
Join us for an exciting ocean education workshop with Saltwater Classroom and the Sea Meadow Marine Foundation! Geared towards students in grades 6-8, this interactive program offers a comprehensive exploration of marine science through SC’s Core Curriculum, while also focusing on the significance of working waterfronts. Engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, meaningful field missions, creative projects, and more!
Program is weeklong in length, running from Monday, August 7th through Friday, August 11th from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day. Program is available free of charge through support from the Maine Department of Education. Participants will recieve all necessary materials and limited t-shirt as well. Transportation is available to participants.
