LEXI DOUDERA
Founder & Executive Director
Having grown up on the rugged coast of Maine, Lexi has always felt an innate connection with the ocean and a deep and powerful love for it. The mission of Saltwater Classroom is central to what inspires Lexi; a vision for a sustainable future driven by global action for our oceans. Lexi is a graduate of Northeastern with a B.S. in Marine Biology and a B.A. in Environmental Studies.

OLIVIA DAWSON
Director of Education
A strong sense of adventure and a passion for the outdoors describes Olivia, with the ocean at the heart of many of her endeavors -- including a SEA Semester in the Southern Pacific. At Northeastern, Olivia studied Environmental Science and focused on Marine Studies.

SAM TERWILLIGER
Marine Science and Conservation Educator
Sam is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont where she focused on Environmental Studies. During her time at UVM, Sam developed a passion for educating youth on environmental conservation through her work volunteering with an after-school birding program for low-income elementary students.

SHAE KELLIHER
Marine Science and Conservation Educator
Shae is a graduate of the University of New England with a degree in Marine Affairs. In addition to working with Saltwater Classroom, Shae works on Cape Cod in Massachusetts rescuing injured and stranded marine mammals.

REESE BUCHOLZ
Photo & Video
Using his creative eye, Reese captures the essence and spirit of Saltwater Classroom through his compelling photographs and expressive cinematography. Reese is a graduate of New York University.

LINDSAY MARTINEZ
Education & Program Support
Enthusiastic and determined, Lindsay is an ignitor for action. A passion for the ocean stemming from her roots on the Long Island Sound, combined with her background in Economics and Entrepreneurship will undoubtedly spark sustainable change in our world.
